Why shaved ice?

A snow cone uses chunkier crushed ice. Our ice is shaved fine and fluffy, so the syrup soaks through the cup instead of racing to the bottom.

Family-owned shaved ice in the heart of Las Cruces.
New Mexico Snow is a family-owned Hawaiian-style shaved ice shop in Las Cruces, New Mexico, located at 439 E Organ Ave in the Mesquite Historic District across from Klein Park. We serve ultra-fluffy shaved ice with bold flavors and loaded toppings, plus New Mexico Snow merch. Inside, you’ll find our pink phone booth and plenty of personality. Outside, there’s shade, misters, and picnic tables for hanging out with family and friends.
Shaved ice, not a crunchy snow cone
We shave the ice fine and fluffy so the flavor soaks through the cup. You get a soft bite and flavor from top to bottom instead of syrup running past big chunks of ice.
